About Me and Maxx

After spending years in the corporate world, I took a leap of faith in 2015 and stepped out of my comfort zone to follow a dream—creating Maxxitreats. At the time, I had no idea just how much this journey would mean to me and my family.

Maxx, our lovable cockapoo, was the inspiration behind it all. He’s playful, loyal, and has a heart full of love. Maxx thrives on companionship—he adores his toys, welcomes every visitor with excitement, and watches sadly when they leave. But above all, he’s my constant companion. Wherever I go, Maxx is there, even if it’s just to the laundry room.

In 2016, life took a turn I never saw coming. I was diagnosed with APL Leukemia—a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. Facing an uncertain future was terrifying, and being separated from Maxx during treatment made it even harder. But when I finally returned home, Maxx greeted me with a joy I’ll never forget. That moment—his unconditional love and excitement—became a powerful reminder of the life and strength I was fighting for. From that day forward, he never left my side, and he’s been part of every step of my healing and rebuilding.

Fast forward to 2022, I made another bold decision—I returned to college to earn my degree in Business Administration. I’m proud to say I’m now a graduate, and I’ve combined my education with years of professional experience to build Maxxitreats into something meaningful—not just for me, but for every pet and pet parent we serve.

Maxxitreats is more than a small business. It’s a story of love, resilience, and second chances—all thanks to a dog named Maxx.
